Body Scrub

 


In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients together (making sure no water comes in contact with the mixture as it will dissolve the sugar and salt). Pour mixture into any airtight container and store in a cool dry place.


 “Zippy” Coffee Scrub

• 2 cups of coarse ground coffee
• 1/2 cup Turbinado raw sugar
• 3 Tbsp olive oil

“Zesty” Citrus Scrub

• 1/2 cup sea salt
•  1/2 cup sweet almond oil
• 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
• 1/2 teaspoon orange zest

To get your scrub on, swirl ingredients together with your fingertips right before showering (the hotter shower the better).  Wash your body as usual and just before exiting the shower, apply your homemade scrub in a firm circular scrubbing motion with hands or a soft washcloth.  Do NOT use on your face!  Rinse off the mixture and pat body dry with a clean towel.
